Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is considered the greatest of all time. Not only is the 45-year-old quarterback the best to ever play the game, but Brady has been a fantasy superstar over the past several years.
The 23-year veteran has averaged 17.2 fantasy points per game in his career. However, the former Michigan signal-caller has averaged 20.9 fantasy points per game during his time with the Buccaneers.
Unfortunately, the 2022 season has gotten off to a rocky start for the future Hall of Famer. Brady has averaged only 15 fantasy points per game this season. Is the decline in his fantasy production because of Tampa Bay’s slew of injuries on offense or Brady’s own injury problems?

Will Tom Brady Play In Week 5?
However, despite the injuries, Brady says he is feeling great and ready to play Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
While the future Hall of Famer is ready to go, should fantasy players put Brady in their starting lineups, given his struggles to start the year?
Should I Start Tom Brady This Week?
Unfortunately, the veteran quarterback has struggled this season, averaging 15 fantasy points per game. However, the Buccaneers have gotten destroyed by injuries on offense.
Tampa Bay lost their starting center, Ryan Jensen, early in training camp to a knee injury. Then, Donovan Smith suffered an elbow injury in the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys and missed Weeks 2 and 3.
Tampa Bay has also dealt with issues at wide receiver. Chris Godwin and Julio Jones have missed two games each this season, while Mike Evans got suspended for Week 3 after getting ejected for fighting in Week 2.
While Brady has struggled this season, he is coming off his best game of the year. Last week he had three passing touchdowns and scored 25.4 fantasy points against the Kansas City Chiefs.
More importantly, the matchup against the Falcons is excellent news for fantasy players. In four career matchups against Atlanta as a member of the Buccaneers, Brady has averaged over 350 passing yards and nearly four touchdowns per game.
The future Hall of Fame quarterback is a must-start this week, as he offers overall QB1 upside against the Falcons.
