2 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey is coming off his best fantasy performance of 2022 and will look to keep the momentum going in a Week 5 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Although he was ineffective on the ground, McCaffrey posted season-highs in targets, receptions, and receiving yards while finding the end zone in Week 4. Expectations should be tempered a bit this week as the 49ers have allowed the second-fewest PPR fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season. Regardless, McCaffrey is playing almost every snap and is seeing all of the valuable touches out of the backfield for Carolina.
