DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Week 6 Daily College Fantasy Football - Saturday Late Night (10/8/22)

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the Saturday Late Night Week 6 (10/8/22) slate. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

Had enough? I didn't think so! It's not over until we say it is! I want to watch college football until my eyes bleed. You must as well otherwise you wouldn't be here!

The nightcap tonight starts a little earlier with Boise hosting Fresno on the Smurf Turf. Next, we head to San Diego for the Aztecs to beat up on Hawaii. We'll find out if it's even possible for that team to beat up on anyone tonight! We close out in Palo Alto with the Beavers heading to chew down the tree. This is going to be a fun one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/8/22 locking at 9:45 pm eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Taylen Green, Boise State ($6,200)

The Broncos may end up giving Sam Vidlak a few snaps in this one, but Green started and finished the last game. He has run for over 100 yards on the ground in each of his two games, so Green is basically a glorified (and fairly cheap) running back. Green doesn't throw enough to wow us with his passing stats, but I'll take 100+ yards and two rushing touchdowns for this price, which he has produced in both games. Who's with me?

Tanner McKee, Stanford ($5,600)

There is no way that McKee is the worst QB on this slate, yet he is priced like it. That alone makes him worth a look in the superflex slot. He's not going to put up huge numbers on Oregon State, but McKee has at least 13 DraftKings points in every game. That's good enough for the price at a very uncertain quarterback position that gets even worse if Chance Nolan is ruled out.

Also consider: Chance Nolan, Oregon State ($6,900); Logan Fife, Fresno State ($6,800)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

George Holani, Boise State ($7,200)

The Broncos fire the offensive coordinator and Holani runs for 131 yards and two touchdowns on a stout San Diego State run defense. Weird, huh? Boise's recommitment to the run with Holani and Green is going to be a huge problem for Fresno. UConn ran on them last week and Boise will here as well. They don't really trust Green's arm yet, but they have no reason not to trust Holani. He hasn't lost a fumble since September 18...of last year.

Jordan Byrd, San Diego State ($5,600)

The return of Chance Bell makes an unenviable situation even worse. Piling on that, none of the backs really got traction against Boise last week. Byrd has been the best runner on the team so far by a large margin. Bell will likely take some carries, but Byrd seems to have more explosiveness right now. The Aztecs have to run because they can't throw. I really like the price on Byrd here.

Casey Filkins, Stanford ($4,300)

The price has been gradually increasing for Filkins, but he's still way too cheap. Stanford's big deficits in the last two games have kept Filkins out of the end zone, but he still has 257 rushing yards over the last three games filling in for E.J. Smith. Filkins has also been very active in the passing game, hauling in eight receptions and scoring through the air in that span. He's still my favorite target on the entire slate and will be until DraftKings prices him where he should be.

Also consider: Jordan Mims, Fresno State ($7,900); Dedric Parson, Hawaii ($6,100); Ashton Jeanty, Boise State ($4,700); Jam Griffin, Oregon State ($3,100)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Tre'Shaun Harrison, Oregon State ($6,900)

Fresno is a pass-first offense, but not so much with Logan Fife slinging it around. I don't see the sense in paying up for Cropper when Oregon State has a better quarterback tossing the ball around in a good matchup against the Stanford secondary. We would like to see Harrison find the end zone again to maximize his value. That should come here. The Beavers only scored 30 points over the last two games. They should hit that mark in this game, and I would expect Harrison to be on the end of one of those.

Nikko Remigio, Fresno State ($5,500)

The Cal transfer led the Bulldogs in receptions without Jake Haener in the game. Don't get too excited...it was only four catches. If it weren't for a return touchdown, Remigio would have had a rather pedestrian day. Every Fresno receiver is a risk with Fife under center, but Remigio is the guy that can break loose, and Boise's defense has struggled at times this year. If Fife is a little more comfortable in this one, Fresno might be able to put a couple of drives together.

Caleb Phillips, Hawaii ($3,800)

The Warriors are down their top two receivers now and are looking high and low for any production they can get. Phillips hauled in eight passes for 138 yards against New Mexico State and looks like the de-facto number one receiver. Looks can be deceiving though. The Warriors are going to throw it all over the place, so everyone is a risk. However, if we can get anywhere near that production again for this price, I'm down for a shot at it in a GPP.

Also consider: Jalen Cropper, Fresno State ($8,200); Michael Wilson, Stanford ($6,000); Anthony Gould, Oregon State ($5,300); Zane Pope, Fresno State ($3,900)
