2 years agoWashington Commanders running back J.D. McKissic had eight carries for 40 yards along with three receptions for 16 yards in Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. In this performance, McKissic operated in a three-man backfield split with Antonio Gibson and Jonathan Williams that limited the upside of everyone involved. The 29-year-old also didn't have nearly as many receiving opportunities out of the backfield that managers have grown accustomed to seeing when Washington finds themselves in a negative game script. With rookie running back Brian Robinson returning to this backfield, it's looking like this setup could be the norm for the Commanders. If that ends up being the case, McKissic may be losing value as the season rolls on.--Jack Camenzind - RotoBaller
