Jonathan Taylor Injury Update

A toe injury made history for Taylor, forcing him to miss his first practice. Not only did he have perfect attendance with the Colts, but he never missed a practice in high school or college, either. His streak came to an end on Wednesday when he was labeled as DNP. Taylor did return to practice on Thursday and has been removed from the injury report heading into Sunday's game. He will be active against the Titans this weekend.

D'Andre Swift Injury Update

Swift (ankle, shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 4. His absence should lead to a heavy workload for Jamaal Williams, who has totaled 197 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns this season. A capable runner and receiver, Williams falls into the mid-RB2 conversation ahead of Detroit's clash with Seattle.

Dalvin Cook Injury Update

Cook (shoulder) has logged two consecutive full practices in preparation for Sunday morning in London. The talented running back figures to be a strong mid-range RB1 option as the Vikings take on the Lions. Still, as we have observed this year and in years past, it is incredibly valuable for managers to build insurance plans. If possible, they should add Vikings backup running back Alexander Mattison considering how much he has impressed during Cook's absences in the past.

Christian McCaffrey Injury Update

After being unable to practice on Wednesday or Thursday, McCaffrey (quad) was a limited participant on Friday. The talented back has made frequent appearances on the injury report but has managed to play in all three games this year, totaling 243 rushing yards, 57 receiving yards, and one touchdown. Head coach Matt Rhule indicated that although McCaffrey is questionable for Week 4 against Arizona, he is "very hopeful" that the 26-year-old will be active. He ranks as a mid-range RB1 in fantasy football for the time being.

Alvin Kamara Injury Update

Kamara (rib) was limited in practice all week long and officially carries a "questionable" designation into Week 4 against the Vikings. He initially suffered the injury during the first game of the season and even missed Week 2. There is optimism that the talented dual-threat back will be active on Sunday, but if not, Mark Ingram would rank as a mid-to-high RB3.

James Conner Injury Update

Conner (knee) logged limited practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday before being upgraded to a full participant on Friday. He has been removed from the Cardinals' injury report and will play in Week 4. Conner averaged a whopping 17.18 fantasy points per game en route to finishing as the RB5 in 2021, but he has seen his production decline in the early weeks of the 2022 campaign. Through three games this year, he has just 93 rushing yards, 73 receiving yards, and one touchdown. The 27-year-old falls into mid-RB2 territory against the Panthers.

J.K. Dobbins Injury Update

Dobbins (knee) practiced in full for two consecutive days. As a result, he has been removed from the Ravens' final injury report and will be active for Sunday's contest against the Bills. Dobbins made his 2022 debut in Week 3, finishing with an underwhelming line of 23 rushing yards and 17 receiving yards. He's a low-end RB3 option at the moment.

David Montgomery Injury Update

Montgomery (knee, ankle) was unable to practice at all this past week. He exited last Sunday's game early and did not return, opening the door for Khalil Herbert to thrive. Now, Montgomery will be inactive for Week 4, putting Herbert in the high-end RB2 tier ahead of a clash with the New York Giants. It's definitely possible that Montgomery makes progress and returns in Week 5, but for the time being, Herbert is the only Bears player worth starting in fantasy football.

Cordarrelle Patterson Injury Update

Patterson (resting veteran, knee) missed practice for two consecutive days before upgrading to a limited participant on Friday. He is officially listed as questionable heading into Week 4 against the Browns. Although the Falcons initially held him out of practice due to his status as a veteran, they removed that label later in the week and are strictly describing his ailment as a knee issue heading into the weekend. If active, Patterson ranks as a low-end RB1 in fantasy football.

A.J. Dillon Injury Update

Dillon popped up on the injury report Wednesday after a knee injury limited him in practice. However, he was a full participant for the rest of the week and has been cleared to play against the Patriots. While Dillon remains the backup to Aaron Jones, he still gets involved and should be viewed as a high-end RB3 in a very favorable matchup against New England.

Melvin Gordon Injury Update

Gordon (neck) logged a full practice session and has officially been cleared to play in Week 4. He will be active against the Raiders, barring an unforeseen setback. While Gordon's numbers have been relatively pedestrian this season, he did salvage his Week 3 showing by catching five passes and scoring a touchdown. He also continues to serve as a nuisance to those invested in Javonte Williams' prosperity.

Miles Sanders Injury Update

Sanders (hip) was limited in practice on Wednesday but practiced in full for the remainder of the week. The 25-year-old, who averages 11.83 fantasy points per game, does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's contest and therefore has some fringe top-24 running back appeal in fantasy football.

Boston Scott Injury Update

Scott (rib) missed all three practice sessions this week. As a result, he has already been ruled out for Week 4. With Sanders leading the backfield and Kenneth Gainwell offering support in the passing game, Philadelphia is expected to make Trey Sermon active as its third running back on Sunday.

Ronald Jones Injury Update

Jones missed the first two practices of the week due to an illness but returned in full capacity on Friday. Even with his clean bill of health, Jones is still buried on the depth chart and may not even be active in Week 4, let alone productive. He has yet to play a snap this season and belongs on waivers in most fantasy football leagues.

Dameon Pierce Injury Update

Pierce (hip) has strung together two full practices in a row, clearing his status ahead of Week 4 against the Chargers. Although it's good news to hear that Pierce is playing, he may see his role reduced for a second consecutive week as the Texans look to come from behind and throw the ball more often. He projects a mid-range RB3 in fantasy football.

Kenneth Walker Injury Update

The rookie was a full participant in practice all week long but did appear on the injury report with a shoulder issue. Still, he has been cleared to play against the Lions in Week 4. Walker should rank as a mid-range RB4.
