2 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Brian Hoyer will start Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers with starter Mac Jones (ankle) ruled out. Jones sustained a high-ankle sprain and will miss at least one game. Hoyer completed 9-for-11 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown over five games in 2021. The 36-year-old will be a game manager as the Patriots will heavily lean on the run with Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson. The Packers' defense ranks 20th in pass DVOA. Hoyer has a solid matchup, but his fantasy upside is capped and is mainly an option in deep-league superflex formats.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
