Jamaal Williams Has RB2 Floor In Week 4
2 years agoDetroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams is expected to handle a hefty workload if D'Andre Swift (shoulder, ankle) is out, which is likely going to be the case. The Seahawks have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to running backs thus far, and Williams already has two multiple-touchdown weeks on his 2022 resume. A 20-plus touch workload is likely in the absence of Swift, so that alone makes him a virtual must-start. Craig Reynolds will likely have somewhat of a role, too, but this is clearly Williams' backfield in Week 4. Detroit could opt to lean on the run game with Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) out.
