2 years agoToronto Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen hit his 14th home run of the season Wednesday, a solo shot off of New York Yankees starting pitcher Gerrit Cole in the sixth inning of an 8-3 loss. Jansen also walked in four plate appearances. Jansen has a solid .841 OPS with 31 runs scored and 38 RBI in 228 plate appearances this year. In Jansen and fellow backstop Alejandro Kirk, the Blue Jays have gotten excellent production from their catchers, and both should be on the radar for fantasy managers heading into 2023.--Doug Goldring
