Jose Berrios tossed seven innings of one-run ball in Saturday's 7-2 victory over the Cardinals, allowing just two hits and two walks while striking out four on the way to earning his 16th win of the season. It was the 30-year-old's seventh consecutive quality start and 20th on the season. The 2x All-Star has been good at home, posting a 10-2 record with a 2.69 ERA, and has put together a nice season overall, with a 3.44 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and 12.5% K-BB% to go with his 16-9 record.

Jose Berrios tossed a gem in a 3-1 win over the Oakland A's on Friday. Berrios allowed one run on six hits over seven innings while striking out eight and walking one to earn the win. The veteran wound up notching 12 swinging strikes to improve his record to 10-9 on the season. Overall, Berrios has a 3.97 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 111 strikeouts over 142 2/3 innings of work. Even though his strikeouts are down this season, Berrios remains a solid mid-rotation asset in fantasy leagues. He will look to stay hot in his next start, which is scheduled for Wednesday against the Los Angeles Angels.

Jose Berrios was racking up strikeouts during Sunday's game against the Seattle Mariners. Berrios recorded 10 strikeouts while allowing four runs in a no-decision. The long ball continues to haunt Berrios as all the damage in this game came off home runs. Despite that, Berrios was able to miss enough bats with his excellent stuff that it kept his team in the game. He'll take a 3.76 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 87/29 K/BB ratio into his next start against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Jose Berrios was sharp on the mound during Thursday's game against the New York Yankees. The right-hander allowed two runs while striking out eight batters across seven innings of work in the win. He gave up two hits and walked three batters while earning his seventh win of the season. The home run ball continues to bite him, but outside of that Berrios has been successful. He'll take a 3.38 ERA into his next start against the Houston Astros.
