2 years agoCleveland Guardians pitcher Zach Plesac (hand) is tentatively scheduled to start Friday against the Kansas City Royals. He was placed on the injured list on September 2 with a fractured right hand. The 27-year-old threw 45 pitches during a simulated game on Tuesday. He has gone 3-11 with a 4.39 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 99 K's in 127 innings (23 starts). Plesac will most likely be on a pitch count, making him hard for fantasy managers to trust even if he does make his start on Friday. Managers should wait to see how Plesac pitches on Friday before inserting him into their lineups.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
