2 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Starling Marte (finger) underwent a CT scan Sunday, which showed improved healing in the non-displaced fracture of his right middle finger. He will continue baseball activities as "tolerated." The CT scan brought positive news, and Marte hopes to rejoin the team sometime this weekend. Marte will need to ramp up his baseball activities to improve his chances of being activated from the injured list. The 33-year-old is slashing .292/.347/.468 with 16 home runs, 63 RBI, 76 runs scored, and 18 stolen bases in 466 at-bats in 2022.
