Carson Wentz Miserable In Week 3
2 years agoWashington Commanders quarterback Carson Wentz went 25-for-43 on pass attempts for 211 yards with no touchdowns and a lost fumble in Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The 29-year-old was also the victim of nine sacks and 17 quarterback hits in a game that the Commanders would like to forget. For the second week in a row, this Wentz-led offense was unable to put up a single point in the first half. This was a concerning performance for the former Colt, but it's not like fans haven't seen this before. With Wentz, you get incredible highs and devastating lows. Washington should have an easier matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4, but it remains to be seen which version of Wentz will show up. For now, consider him a decent streaming option.
