2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Sammy Watkins (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 29-year-old was limited with the injury on Wednesday but was a non-participant on Thursday and Friday. It is all too familiar territory for the veteran receiver, who has not played an entire season since his rookie campaign in 2014. The Packers could also be without rookie Christian Watson (hamstring) and Randall Cobb (illness), who are both listed as questionable. Their absence would leave Allen Lazard and Romeo Doubs as the top two wideouts, and both should see increased target totals in a tough matchup against the Buccaneers' secondary. It is unclear how long the injury will sideline Watkins, but for now, he is safe to drop in the majority of leagues.--Ryan Larrison - RotoBaller
