George Kittle Injury Update
George Kittle has been sidelined through the first two weeks of the NFL season with a groin injury, and fantasy managers are anxious to get him back as one of the elite fantasy time ends in the game. It's looks as if that's going to happen in Week 3, as the 49ers take on the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football.
#49ers TE George Kittle, who has been dealing with a groin injury, is off the injury report and will play Sunday.

With Kittle off the injury report and ready to make his debut, he gets back his "must-start" status in fantasy football. Kittle has explosive upside that rivals just about anyone at his position, so fire him up, even if there's any kind of risk of limited snaps.
Those who roster him drafted him early among tight ends, so don't over think the start/sit decision in Week 3.
T.J. Hockenson Injury Update
T.J. Hockenson missed the final stretch of the season last year with a thumb injury, and find himself on the injury report once again in Week 3. He appears to have come up with some kind of hip ailment, so his status should be monitored up to kick off.
Detroit Lions Week 3 injury designations:
OUT: Jonah Jackson
Questionable: Frank Ragnow, D’Andre Swift, T.J. Hockenson, Aidan Hutchinson
No injury designation: Amani Oruwariye@erikschlitt breaks it down: https://t.co/4WAYc8Ahna— Pride of Detroit (@PrideOfDetroit) September 23, 2022
If he's active, he's still considered a top-10 play at the position, even after a slow start. He's eighth among tight ends with 14 targets, so a breakout game could and should be coming soon.
The Vikings gave up a big game to Dallas Goedert last week, so perhaps Hockenson can find some fantasy production for the first time this season. If he's out, Brock Wright doesn't carry much fantasy appeal, but Amon-Ra St. Brown, D.J. Chark, and Josh Reynolds are all candidates to see more targets.
Dalton Schultz Injury Update
Dalton Schultz suffered a knee injury in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals and although the Cowboys don't play until Monday night against the New York Giants, things aren't looking good as he hasn't practiced all week. Schultz is trending on the wrong side of questionable in Week 3.
Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz (knee) is not participating in today’s padded practice. Yet to practice this week. He did do some movement and ball-skill work on side. Also out: QB Dak Prescott, LB Micah Parsons, LG Connor McGovern and S Jayron Kearse. pic.twitter.com/aQjq6S5HJW

If Dak Prescott (finger) was active, Schultz would be a must-start, even if he was playing injured. However, with Cooper Rush at QB, it's best to be cautious with Schultz in Week 3. It's more than likely that he's out anyways, so be prepared to roll with a different option at tight end.
Since this game is the last of the week, fantasy managers should go ahead and bench him, and find a Sunday game replacement
.
Hayden Hurst Injury Update
Hayden Hurst has quietly been one of the most targeted tight ends in the NFL through two weeks, and sits in a tie for 5th among all TEs with 10 receptions. However, he popped up on the Cincinnati Bengals injury report with a groin injury, and is questionable heading into Week 3.
Bengals RT La'el Collins (back) missed practice and is listed as questionable.
LB Germaine Pratt (knee) is listed as doubtful and didn't practice today.
TE Hayden Hurst was limited today with a groin injury. He went full yesterday. He's listed as questionable.

For those who drafted Travis Kelce, Kyle Pitts, Darren Waller, George Kittle, or Mark Andrews, Hurst's injury status isn't noteworthy in fantasy. However, those who opt to play the stream game at tight end should monitor his status up to kickoff.
Hurst is quietly a breakout candidate in the high-powered Bengals offense, and especially in PPR leagues, he's a solid dice roll in Week 3 if he's active against a lowly New York Jets defense.
