Saquon Barkley Still Positioned As An RB1 In Week 3
2 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley is still positioned as an RB1 in Week 3 versus the Dallas Cowboys. It was a disappointing performance from the electric running back in Week 2 against the Carolina Panthers, where he finished with 88 total yards on 24 total touches. The volume was still there for Barkley and he exploded for 194 total yards and a touchdown in Week 1, so we know he's back to being his effective self to begin the season. In a game where the Giants are likely going to want to get rid of the ball quickly with Micah Parsons coming off of the edge, Barkley could see plenty of targets, putting him in RB1 territory in Week 3. It also helps that none of the wide receivers on the Giants are emerging as the clear No. 1 option in the passing game.
