Sal Frelick Continues To Impress Down On The Farm
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Sal Frelick went 2-for-4 with a pair of stolen bases for Triple-A Nashville on Thursday. The talented outfielder extended his on-base streak to 39 games with the performance and has now gone for multi-hits in 22 of his 44 games in Triple-A. The 22-year-old open the season in High-A Wisconsin before a promotion to Double-A Biloxi and eventually Triple-A Nashville. At every stop, Frelick has impressed and overall is hitting .331 with 11 homers, 58 RBI and 24 stolen bases. With his ability to hit for both power and contact to go along with speed on the basepaths, Frelick has the makings of potential All-Star down the line. With his acceleration in the Brewers system this year, it wouldn't be surprising if he got a shot to compete for the big-league club next season. Managers in dynasty leagues should already be rostering Frelick and those in redraft leagues should remember his name for next years drafts.
