Spencer Strider Has Another Strong Outing Sunday
2 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Spencer Strider turned in another strong start on Sunday against the Philadelphia Phillies. The right-hander struck out 10 batters in six innings while allowing three walks and a home run. The home run, which came via Phillies infielder Alec Bohm, was the only hit Strider surrendered. The rookie also generated 19 swinging strikes on 106 pitches and finished with a 34% CSW rate. For the season, the 23-year-old owns a 2.67 ERA and a 1.82 FIP in 131.2 innings of work. He's also added 202 strikeouts and has allowed 48 walks.
