Rhamondre Stevenson Quiet In Week 2 Despite Expanded Role
2 years agoNew England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson finished with nine rushing attempts for 47 yards and one reception for four yards on two targets in the team's 17-14 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Although Stevenson did not come through for fantasy purposes, he out-snapped Damien Harris and operated as the clear passing-down back with Ty Montgomery (knee) landing on injured reserve earlier in the week. With Montgomery out for at least the next three games, it will be interesting to see if Stevenson receives more targets. It will be hard to trust him in starting lineups, but Stevenson should be rostered and could be a sneaky flex option in deeper leagues so long as Montgomery is inactive.
