Damien Harris Totals 87 Yards, Scores In Week 2 Win
2 years agoNew England Patriots running back Damien Harris handled 15 carries for 71 yards and a touchdown, adding two receptions for 16 yards on two targets in the team's Week 2 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Harris was effective despite playing on just 39% of snaps, the same amount he played in Week 1. It was Rhamondre Stevenson who was the clear beneficiary of Ty Montgomery (knee) landing on injured reserve as he saw an increased snap share and handled more passing-down work. Still, Harris will continue to be used on the ground and has proven to be solid in his role. He can be treated as an RB3 with weekly flex appeal going forward.
