Zay Jones Sees Decrease In Targets In Week 2
2 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones caught only three passes for 23 yards on four targets in the Week 2 win over the Indianapolis Colts. The veteran wideout has been operating as the No. 2 wide receiver for the Jaguars to begin the season alongside Christian Kirk. After recording six receptions for 65 yards on nine targets in Week 1, the East Carolina product saw his numbers decrease across the board in Week 2. That being said, the Jaguars were ahead for the entire game against the Colts, so Jones wasn't needed much in the passing game. Hopefully, the 27-year-old will see more usage in the passing game in Week 3 versus the Los Angeles Chargers.
