J.D. McKissic No More Than A Handcuff In Week 2
2 years agoWashington Commanders running back J.D. McKissic had himself an uneventful Week 1. The seven-year veteran finished with 28 total yards on six total touches. McKissic was expected to handle a much larger share of the receiving work out of the backfield with rookie Brian Robinson injured to begin the year. But instead, Antonio Gibson assumed more of that work, and he produced admirably with the opportunity. McKissic is still a solid third-down back for the Commanders, but judging by his Week 1 usage, he may be losing some fantasy relevance as Gibson sees more opportunities. Leave McKissic on the bench in Week 2, even in PPR leagues.
