Dodgers Place Tony Gonsolin On Injured List
2 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers placed starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin (forearm) on the 15-day injured list on Monday due to a right forearm strain. The move was made retroactive to August 26. The 28-year-old has enjoyed a breakout season for both the Dodgers and fantasy managers this season, pitching to a 2.10 ERA and a 3.34 FIP in 128.1 innings for Los Angeles this season. He's also struck out 116 batters in those 128.1 innings while allowing just 35 walks and 11 home runs. The Dodgers recalled right-hander Michael Grove to take Gonsolin's place on the active roster.
