Felix Bautista Earns Five-Out Save Tuesday
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles closer Felix Bautista continued to impress in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the White Sox, earning his ninth save of the season. Bautista entered the game in the eighth inning up by two with one out and runners on first and third. He got the second out on a strikeout, hit a batter to load the bases, and ended the inning with a strikeout. Bautista stayed on to pitch the ninth inning and delivered a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout. The O's have been surprisingly competitive this season and Bautista has done a great job taking over the closer role. The big flamethrower now has a stellar 1.68 ERA and 11.91 K/9 rate in 53 2/3 innings pitched. Bautista looks like a player who could help win fantasy leagues and is still out there in some leagues with 76 percent rosterhip.
