BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 13% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Corbin Carroll was a first-round pick for the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2019 MLB Draft, a consensus top-50 prospect, and was rostered to the 2022 NL Futures Game team. The D-Backs outfield may be stocked with formidable talent, but Carroll is ambitiously attempting to earn his way to the majors this season with only 518 minor league AB in total, and the Arizona front office has indicated that it is just a matter of time.

Of those 518 AB, 341 have come in 2022, with that split coming in 227 AB for Double-A Amarillo, 108 AB for Triple-A Reno, and a mere six AB of rookie ball. In that time, Carroll has notched 51 XBH (21 doubles, eight triples, and 22 homers), 30 stolen bases in 35 attempts, and a slash of .311/.425/.613, with a .931 OPS at Triple-A. As I write this, Corbin Carroll is freshly 22 years old, and still lacks the minor league experience that even the average fast-riser has in route to the MLB level, but in leagues of moderate size, his skillset is well-worth rolling the dice on as crunch time approaches.
