Jordan Lawlar Continues To Show Talent In High-A
Jordan Lawlar went 1-for-4 with a walk and two stolen bases on Thursday for High-A Hillsboro. One of Lawlar's stolen bases was of home and that shows a glimpse of his high IQ on the basepaths. The sixth overall pick in 2021, Lawler has shown the ability to be a five-tool prospect and the numbers have backed him up thus far. Despite missing most of last season with a shoulder injury and some time this season, Lawlar's talent in undeniable. He was recognized this season as part of the National League All-Star for the Futures Game and has hit .324 with 11 homers, 50 RBI and 36 stolen bases across Rookie Ball, Single-A and High-A this season. Although he is projected to be big-league ready by 2024, dynasty managers would be wise to consider rostering the ultra-talented 20-year-old that has the potential to help across the board for years to come.

Jordan Lawlar Officially Called Up
Jordan Lawlar has been officially called up from Triple-A Reno on Monday. Lawlar won't be in Monday's lineup, but figures to get significant playing time on the D-Backs roster. The 22-year-old struggled during a 14-game sample size spot with the D-Backs in 2023. Lawlar spent all of the 2024 season in the minors, but missed significant time due to injury. Now, Lawlar has earned his way back on the D-Backs roster after slashing .336/.413/.579 with six homers and 13 steals in the minors. Sadly, there isn't an obvious everyday spot for Lawlar right now. Despite that, Lawlar should still see a fair amount of playing time while rotating positions in the infield. Lawlar is one of the top prospects in all of baseball and needs to be rostered in all fantasy formats.

Jordan Lawlar Set For Promotion To Majors
Jordan Lawlar, according to Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. Lawlar, MLB Pipeline's No. 4 overall prospect, hit .336/.413/.579 with six homers and 13 steals in Triple-A this season. Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said on Sunday that the team can find ways for Lawlar to get into the lineup, even with a seemingly stacked infield. The 22-year-old should get into around four games a week, which isn't ideal for fantasy but should be enough to not stunt his growth. Even with the diminished playing time, Lawlar is a must-add in all fantasy formats. He might not be startable right away, but if he hits well he will end up playing more often and could become a fantasy standout.

Jordan Lawlar Hits Slump At Triple-A
Jordan Lawlar has hit a bit of a slump at Triple-A. After riding an incredible 12-game hitting streak, the top prospect in the desert has gone 0-for-9 over his last two contests. During this slump, Lawlar has struck out once and has not drawn a walk. However, during his 12-game hitting streak, Lawlar was one of the most productive hitters in professional baseball as he held a .510/.576/.922 slash line with eight doubles, three home runs, and eight stolen bases. Through his first 31 games of the Triple-A regular season, the former sixth overall pick has held an impressive .357/.441/.643 slash line with 14 doubles and six home runs. Fantasy managers should continue to view Lawlar as a high-end priority stash option, as he should be in the mix to return to the major leagues in the coming weeks. When he does get the call, he will carry five-category upside.
