Kamaru Usman (20-3) is set to move up to middleweight as he will take on Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 294 on Saturday in a fight he took on less than two weeks' notice. Usman enters the fight coming off back-to-back losses to Leon Edwards to lose his welterweight title. Given that Usman took this fight on short notice, DraftKings has "The Nigerian Nightmare" at a salary of $7,300. In his UFC career, Usman is averaging 116.59 fantasy points per fight, and he has won five of those 15 victories by stoppage. A win over Chimaev will also earn Usman a middleweight title shot, according to Dana White.

Kamaru Usman fell short in his bid to recapture his welterweight championship, dropping a majority decision to Leon Edwards in the main event of Saturday's UFC 286 event. In 25 minutes of action, Usman tallied 87 significant strikes, 33 less than Edwards. He did land four of his takedowns on the night, though, but he also had 11 of his takedowns stuffed. Usman kept it close on the scorecards over five minutes of control time. Usman is going to have to earn a few more victories before he gets another crack at Edwards, who has now beat him in back-to-back fights.

After losing his title after a 19-fight winning streak, Kamaru Usman (20-2) will look to recapture his UFC welterweight championship when he faces off against Leon Edwards in their rubber match at UFC 286 on Saturday. A dangerous wrestler with a recent discovery of the knockout, 10 of his 20 career wins have come by decision, with an additional nine coming via knockout/TKO, including three of his last five bouts. DraftKings sees the former champion as the big favorite with a salary of $8,900. Throughout his UFC career (16 bouts), he is averaging 120.2 fantasy points per contest. Look for Usman to come out seeking redemption and to put the pressure on Edwards early on his way to what will likely be another championship victory.

Fifty-six seconds is all Kamaru Usman needed to hold onto if he wanted to remain the welterweight champion. Up 3-1 on the scorecards heading into the fifth round on Saturday, it was all but locked in that Usman would walk out of the Octagon as the champion. However, a dynamic head kick out of nowhere by Leon Edwards ended Usman's night and his current reign over the welterweight division. Greatly out-striking Edwards in 24:06 of action, Usman landed 189 total strikes compared to that of Edwards' 64. It only takes one hit, though, and that's exactly how Edwards was able to defeat the champion. Look for an immediate rematch in the future for both of these competitors.
