Sammis Reyes Back On The Field
2 years agoWashington Commanders tight end Sammis Reyes (leg) is practicing with the team at training camp after missing the offseason program with what head coach Ron Rivera described as leg discomfort due to an "old screw" from a previous procedure. Reyes said he's comfortable physically and mentally after studying hours of tape while injured. Logan Thomas (knee) is on the Physically Unable to Perform list. John Bates is the de facto starter, while rookie Cole Turner is expected to contribute in the receiving game. Reyes is among the depth candidates that include undrafted rookie Curtis Hodges. The 26-year-old didn't receive a single target in 11 games last year and remains well off the fantasy radar at this time.
