Trevor Story Takes Batting Practice Monday
2 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Trevor Story (hand) took batting practice on Monday, per Red Sox beat writer Chris Cotillo. It was his second consecutive day swinging a bat since he landed on the injured list in mid-July with a right hand contusion. It sounds as though the 29-year-old is still a little ways away from joining the team, but he is progressing in the right direction. The batting average hasn't been there for Story, but he has still been a valuable fantasy asset overall with a.221/.289/.423 slash line, 15 home runs, 58 RBI, and 10 stolen bases. Fantasy managers should be on the lookout for further updates in the next couple of days.
