2 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels have no plans to trade starting pitcher/designated hitter Shohei Ohtani before the Aug. 2 trade deadline, according to Jon Morosi. Even with growing speculation over the past few weeks, this isn't all that surprising. The two-way superstar is a unicorn, and it's probably a good idea to keep those around when you have them. He's slashed .256/.348/.482 this season while knocking 19 homers and swiping 10 bases.
