Mike Trout Receives Cortisone Shot, Won't Return Monday
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (back) will not be ready to return by Monday, the day he is eligible to return from the IL. Trout received a cortisone shot in his back a few days ago and won't be up to speed at the start of the new week. His timeline after that is unknown right now, but he should hopefully be ready to return later in the week. Trout has managed to stay healthier this season than he has the past few, but has started to deal with the injury bug again recently. Fantasy managers need Trout to stay healthy, as there is simply no replacement for his .270/.368/.599 slash line.
