Julio Rodriguez Day-To-Day With Wrist Soreness
2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez (wrist) has been labeled as day-to-day by the team as he is dealing with left wrist soreness. The rookie sensation reportedly jammed his wrist while attempting a steal last Sunday and he's been experiencing some on-and-off soreness ever since. He was initially included in the starting lineup for Friday night's game, but he didn't feel great after going through batting practice and was scratched shortly before the game began. It sounds like the team was mostly just being cautious with him on Friday. There's a decent chance we'll see the 21-year-old back in action before the end of the weekend. Over 91 games this year, he has slashed .275/.337/.477 with 16 home runs, 21 stolen bases, 52 RBI and 53 runs.
