2 years agoTampa Bay Rays left-hander Jeffrey Springs (leg) is expected to return from the injured list and make his next start on Sunday when the team takes on the Kansas City Royals. The 29-year-old has been out since early July with right lower-leg tightness. Springs began the year in the bullpen, but transitioned to the rotation a few months in. He's been effective in all roles this year, pitching to a 2.53 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP across 64 innings.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
