Keegan Murray Named Summer League MVP
2 years agoSacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray has been named the 2022 Summer League MVP. The 21-year-old had an extremely productive Summer League, averaging 23.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game while shooting 50% from the field and 40% from three-point range. Murray was taken with the fourth overall pick in this year's draft. The Kings were widely ridiculed for the selection as they passed on Purdue guard Jaden Ivey to make the pick -- Ivey was almost unanimously considered a top four overall prospect in the draft. Murray should be in line for a lot of minutes as a rookie in 2022-23 and is a great target in the mid-to-late rounds of fantasy drafts.
