2 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (leg) is not in the starting lineup against the Oakland Athletics on Friday. Altuve was hit in the left leg in the first inning of Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Angels and was removed from the game shortly after. He is considered day-to-day for now, with Mauricio Dubon replacing him at second base and also leading off for the Astros. The hope for the Astros and fantasy managers is that Altuve can get back in the lineup soon, as the stalwart has a .277 AVG, 17 homers, and eight steals, making him a true five-category stud.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
