2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks (shin) is set to undergo a CT scan on his right shin on Wednesday. The 32-year-old fouled a ball off his shin during Tuesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. He was removed from the game and helped off the field after the incident. X-rays following the injury were negative, but the team wants to Hicks to undergo a CT scan to determine if the injury is anything more than a shin contusion. The injury comes at a rough time for Hicks as he's been heating up in July. Over nine games this month, he's slashed .370/.485/.889 with three home runs, three doubles, two stolen bases, eight RBI and 10 runs.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
