Anibal Sanchez To Make His Season Debut Thursday
2 years agoWashington Nationals right-hander Anibal Sanchez (neck) is set to make his season debut on Thursday against his former team, the Atlanta Braves. Sanchez landed on the injured list at the start of the season due to a cervical nerve impingement in his neck. While rehabbing from the injury, he pitched 15.2 innings and allowed 13 hits, eight walks and seven earned runs while striking out 15. The 38-year-old will likely remain in the Nationals' rotation if he pitches decently well, but he is unlikely to be much of a factor for fantasy purposes.
