Stephen Piscotty Headed To Injured List
Stephen Piscotty (calf) will be going on the injured list, according to manager Mark Kotsay. He was forced to exit Friday's game due to calf tightness. An MRI revealed a Grade 1 calf strain, so Piscotty is going to miss some time. The 31-year-old has struggled at the plate this season, so maybe a little time off will help him. He's hitting .225/.340/.325 with one home run, so he can probably be cut on most fantasy rosters who don't have an available IR spot.
