Mitchell Robinson Remains A Knick On Four-Year Deal
2 years agoAs expected, the New York Knicks have officially signed center Mitchell Robinson to a four-year deal worth $60 million. The 24-year-old averaged 8.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game last year while playing 25.7 minutes per contest. He also gained a few notable teammates in the past 24 hours as the Knicks signed fellow center Isaiah Hartenstein as well as the team's new starting point guard Jalen Brunson. Hartenstein will serve as the team's backup center, taking on the role that Nerlens Noel had last year. Meanwhile, Brunson should provide steady play at the point and his play-making abilities could help lead to more easy buckets for Robinson down low.
