Troy Brown Jr. Signs League-Minimum Deal With Lakers
2 years agoFree-agent guard/forward Troy Brown Jr. has agreed to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. According to Shams Charania, the deal is worth the league minimum. The Lakers had a busy day on the first day of free agency. In addition to Brown, the team also signed Lonnie Walker IV, Juan Toscano-Anderson and Damian Jones. Brown became an unrestricted free agent after the Chicago Bulls chose not to extend a qualifying offer to him. Still just 22 years old, Brown has the potential to be a solid rotational player in the league. He stands 6-foot-6 and has both playmaking and shooting potential.
