Cavs Expected To Match Offers For Collin Sexton
2 years agoThe Cleveland Cavaliers are expected to match outside offers for Collin Sexton that are "within reason," according to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated. The team extended a qualifying offer to Sexton, so he is set to become a restricted free agent this offseason. He's been valued at $10-12 million per season by outside executives, but it will be interesting to see if a team goes higher than that and if the Cavs are willing to match it. Sexton, who missed the majority of the 2021-22 season with a torn left meniscus in his knee, has reportedly stated that he wants to remain a Cavalier.
