Matt Olson Goes Yard Twice On Tuesday
2 years agoAtlanta Braves first baseman Matt Olson helped the team secure a 5-3 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday. He went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in the contest. This was his second two-homer game of the month. His last one came on the Tuesday prior against the San Francisco Giants. Olson had only hit six home runs over the first two months of the season, but he's lifted his season-long homer total to 12 by racking up six bombs in June. The 28-year-old owns a .253/.350/.481 slash line on the year to go along with an MLB-leading 29 doubles.
