Anthony Rizzo Good To Go On Tuesday
2 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo (elbow) was given the green light to play in Tuesday's game against the Oakland Athletics. He will be hitting third in the order for the contest. Rizzo was hit on his right elbow by a pitch from A's reliever A.J. Puk during Monday's game and he was lifted from the game after the play. He didn't seem very concerned about the injury after the game, so it's not too surprising to see him back in the lineup a day later. The 32-year-old has slashed .222/.337/.498 with 20 home runs, 50 RBI and 44 runs over 73 games on the year.
