2 years agoBoston Red Sox relief pitcher Tanner Houck made quick work of the St. Louis Cardinals during Sunday's game. The right-hander was brought on to guard a two-run lead with two outs in the ninth inning. He gave up a single to Tommy Edman before getting out Brendan Donovan to end the Cards comeback attempt. The 25-year-old has become the primary closer in Boston. He has converted all of his save attempts since June 10.
