Josh Donaldson's Suspension Upheld By MLB
2 years agoThe MLB has upheld the one-game suspension of New York Yankees third baseman Josh Donaldson. He will serve the suspension on Tuesday, when the team opens up a three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays. Donaldson received the suspension for comments he made to Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson back in May. His appeal of the suspension wasn't all for naught as he had his fine reduced from $10,000 to $5,000. The 36-year-old has been mostly underwhelming at the plate so far this year. Over 45 games, he's slashing .235/.335/.395 with five home runs, 18 RBI and 18 runs.
