Travis Toivonen, Austin Allen Stand Out
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Travis Toivonen was getting repetitions with both the first- and second-team offenses at mandatory minicamp with so many receivers out due to injuries, and he took advantage of his opportunities. He has good size at 6-foot-4 and feels like a likely candidate to become a training camp favorite next month. Meanwhile, rookie tight end Austin Allen was getting as many first-team reps as veteran Ricky Seals-Jones by the end of minicamp. Allen caught 38 passes for 602 yards and two touchdowns last year at Nebraska and could push Seals-Jones for valuable snaps as the team's top pass-catching back this year.
