Bo Bichette Doubles, Scores A Run On Friday
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored in the team's 9-3 loss to the Minnesota Twins on Friday. The 24-year-old closed out the month of May with a hot streak at the plate. He recorded multiple hits in five of his last six games of May, compiling five doubles and a home run over the six-game stretch. Across 51 games on the year, Bichette is slashing .254/.296/.418 with seven home runs, four stolen bases, 26 RBI and 26 runs. While those surface stats are a bit underwhelming given Bichette's track record, fantasy managers should expect better times ahead. His underlying stats are mostly all right where they were last year, including his 89th percentile average exit velocity (91.6 mph) and 92nd percentile hard-hit rate (50%).
