Craig Kimbrel Records His 11th Save On Thursday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Craig Kimbrel earned his 11th save of the year on Thursday as he closed out the team's 2-0 victory over the New York Mets. He pitched a perfect ninth inning, retiring each of the three batters he faced while recording a strikeout. Kimbrel was unavailable for Wednesday's game as he was working on fixing some mechanical issues. He had allowed a total of four earned runs over his previous three appearances. The 34-year-old now has a 4.50 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP on the year.
