Evan Longoria Exits With Shoulder Soreness On Tuesday
2 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria (shoulder) was removed from Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies in the fifth inning due to right shoulder soreness. Tommy La Stella entered to replace him in the game. According to Giants beat writer Maria I. Guardado, Longoria likely won't start on Wednesday, but he could be available off the bench for the game. Longoria was 0-for-1 with a walk prior to being lifted on Tuesday. He has a .236/.276/.545 slash line to go along with five home runs, 11 RBI and seven runs over 17 games so far this year.
