Willy Adames Experiencing Quad Discomfort
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames (ankle, quad) is currently rehabbing an ankle injury at Single-A Carolina. While he's experienced no issues with his ankle in recent days, he's now dealing with quad discomfort. The quad injury led to him being held out of action on Monday. He is continuing with baseball activities, so it's not a shut down type of situation, but his timeline is being pushed back at least a few days. The 26-year-old has slashed .221/.291/.405 with five home runs, six stolen bases, 18 RBI and 20 runs over 44 games this year. If the quad injury quickly subsides, we could see him back with the Brewers this weekend. Otherwise, we may be looking at a return early next week.
