Yuli Gurriel Hitless In His Last Three Games
3 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel went hitless again in Monday's 5-1 victory over the Oakland Athletics. He hasn't recorded a hit in three straight games, going 0-for-10 during that span. That's been the story of the season for Gurriel, as he's hitting just .217 over 43 games. Fantasy managers haven't gotten production in any category, with the 37-year-old tallying three home runs, 15 runs, 13 RBI, and a pair of stolen bases. Gurriel's track record (.289 career batting average) makes him hard to part ways with, but if he keeps it up much longer, it's okay to cut him loose.
